About

Laurel B. Callahan was born and raised in Canton, MS, and graduated from Canton Academy before attending Delta State. She went there to pursue a degree in business, but found pottery along the way. She has been making pottery since 2016. After graduating from Delta State, she continued her pottery and sold some pieces here and there at various craft shows and flea markets to help fund her passion.

Her love of coffee and tea inspired her to design and throw mugs on the wheel that she would fuss over until they were just right. She now lives in Jackson with her husband, whom she met at college. They work together in the studio quite a lot, making all kinds of pottery, whether functional or decorative.
